Intense cherry red with violet undertones. Complex aromas, leather and elegania combined with the tannins of the noble wood provided. Entry warm and long aftertaste, a wine to enjoy it.
Age: 26 years on average
Varieties: 75% Tempranillo, 10% Mazuelo, 5% Garnacha
10% Other Preparation: Classic stripped
Fermentation: In stainless steel tank of 22,500 kg, 11/13 days at 29 º C / 30 º C
Maceration: daily bazuqueados traced and 11 days with the skins after fermentation is complete
Treatment: Not clarification, or filtration
Aging: Once racked with complete malolactic fermentation, aging begins in January 2005
Barrels: 30% American oak 40% new American oak, French and Russian of a wine 20% new French oak 10% new Russian oak (made by Seguin Moreau and Murua)
Transfer: two first racked every 5 months, then every 6 months
Ageing: 23 months
Bottled: January 2007
Total Production: 306,983 bottles of 750 ml., 5,000 bottles of 1500 ml.
